Lake Tapps, WA | 2024 | $150k – $200k
This Lake Tapps waterfront project was designed around one idea: creating a space that feels just as good as the view looks.
We rebuilt the existing rockery retaining walls and incorporated larger natural boulders throughout the shoreline to create a stronger, more cohesive landscape that still felt natural to the property. Behind the scenes, enhanced drainage improvements were added throughout the site to help protect the space long-term.
Stepping out into the backyard now leads directly onto a 1,008 sq. ft. Belgard Lafitt Grana paver patio designed for gathering and relaxing by the water, with a 48” gas fire pit incorporated into the space for evenings spent overlooking the lake.
New plantings were woven throughout the retaining walls to soften the stonework and add natural texture to the landscape, while fresh sod near the upper patio and synthetic turf down at dock level created a clean, low-maintenance finish from top to bottom.
The result is a waterfront space that feels elevated, welcoming, and built to be enjoyed every day.
